Changing account details

Change your account information

First, you need to log in with the e-mail and password you used to register. Once you have logged in, at the top of the initial page of Tuuggo’s platform, right next to ‘Legal’, you can find your username. Move the cursor on top of it and select ‘Settings’. There you can change your profile photo, first and last names, e-mail, and password. In addition, you can add any information you find relevant to mention.

Contacting your guest

How do I get in touch with my guests?

  • To reach a guest, they must first submit a booking request or have booked a trip.
  • Once the booking is confirmed, you can easily access your guest’s contact details.
  • Log in to your account and navigate to the booking details page to find the guest’s contact information.
  • You can send them a message through our chat system.

Sending a message to your guest

  • During a trip, Tuuggo’s chat system is useful to ask questions, give directions, send pictures, and discuss any issues you may have with your guest.

  • Select the booked trip and click “Send Message” to send a message to the guest.

  • When reaching out to your guest, it is helpful to introduce yourself and provide relevant booking details.
  • While waiting for a response, please allow some reasonable time for the guest to reply. If it is an urgent matter, mention it in your message.
  • Maintain a friendly and respectful tone when communicating with your guest.
  • Clearly communicate your concerns or questions, and avoid using offensive or inappropriate language.

Troubleshooting communication issues

If you experience difficulties contacting your guest or do not receive a response within a reasonable time frame, reach out to our customer support team for assistance. Provide them with relevant booking details and information about the communication issue.

Emergency situations

  • In case of emergencies during the trip, please provide emergency protocols or instructions to your guest.
  • If immediate assistance is required, contact local emergency services as appropriate for their location and inform them that the emergency number in Portugal is 112.

Providing feedback

After the trip has ended, consider leaving feedback for your guest. It is important for hosts to give feedback to guests to promote transparency and accountability. It also helps future hosts make informed decisions about potential renters.

Closing your account

The implications of closing your account

  • Cancels any forthcoming trips which may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Holds you financially responsible for unpaid tickets, tolls, fees, reimbursements, or claims related to previous trips.
  • Removes whatever vehicles you listed on the platform.

In order to reopen your account, you must reach Tuuggo directly at admin@tuuggo.com

How to delete your account

  • Log in to Tuuggo and go to the Account page.
  • Access settings and click “Delete Account”.
  • If you wish to close your account, type your password and click “Delete Account”.
